Anyone trying to increase strength while maintaining a beautiful and slender body would find barre exercises ideal.
Inspired by ballet, Adeline’s barre technique tones muscles from head to toe by emphasising modest, under control motions.
1. Long, sculpted legs from plie squats
Adeline begins her lengthening and strengthening of the leg muscles with plie squats. Keeping your back straight, stand with wide separated feet, toes turned out, and bend your knees.
Slower down then press through your heels to stand. For a lovely leg shape, repeat 15 to 20 times.
2. Elegant Lines from Standing Leg Lifts
Adeline enjoys standing leg lifts for slim legs. Keeping your core engaged, hold onto a firm surface—a chair—then raise one leg out to the side.
Target the inner and outer thighs by repeating 12 to 15 times on each leg then flip sides.
3. Basic Arm Movement Engagement
Adeline concentrates on arm motions that also work the core to finish the workout. Holding little hand weights—or water bottles—stand tall and use your arms to execute little pulses and circles. This exercise improves a wonderful posture in addition to toning the arms.
Perfect for building long, sleek muscles, Adeline’s barre workout blends grace and power. Try it and highlight your own inner dancer!
