Travel Guard left me feeling disillusioned and let down as they have been unresponsive. Using Travel Guard, I made a trip reservation and bought trip insurance. For medical reasons I had to postpone the trip; on January 8, 2024 I filed a claim. On January 9, 2024, the Travel Guard Portal posted the information they asked for. Forty-eight hours after providing the material, I followed up to make sure they possessed all the necessary information. They verified they possessed every form I had sent. They advised me the insurance adjuster would get back to me and it would take ten to fifteen business days to review the claim. It’s February 12th now, and I haven heard from the adjuster or Travel Guard. I have phoned several times and always get the same run-through. When I phoned once more today, even requesting to talk with a supervisor, I was informed the supervisor would not get in touch and would just say the same thing. Gets responses from claims two weeks later. Then, even though you already sent, they seek other information. I had to resubmit material once again with a letter of explanation; claims adjusters merely emailed. Still another approach to stretch payments is to Quite nervous as she couldn talk to the adjuster. You only speak with a live person when you call to request a change of address. They are not able to trans the call.
